Avv. Amelia Spolidoro

 

Amelia Spolidoro joined Studio Avvocato Spolidoro as a trainee lawyer in January 2020
and was admitted to the Bar of Milan in 2022.


In November 2024, she earned a PhD in Comparative Law, Private Law, Civil Procedural Law, and Business Law (with a focus on Private Law) from the University of Milan, defending a thesis titled "Il contratto turbato: una prospettiva rimediale" supervised by Professor Gregorio Gitti.

Her PhD. studies began in September 2021, after ranking first among applicants to the XXXVII cycle of the PhD program. She is the author of several academic papers and case notes, primarily in civil law and Antitrust Law. A list of her publications is available in the dedicated section of this website.

 

Since September 2020, Amelia has been working with Professor Christian Romeo in the
Chair of Private Law Institutions at the University of Milan, serving as a lecturer, seminar coordinator, and examiner for final exams. Since December 2021, she has also been a member of the examination committee for the Chair of Civil Law held by Professor Gregorio Gitti at the same University. Amelia graduated cum laude in July 2020 at the University of Milan, with a thesis in private law titled “Obblighi contrattuali e libertà dello sponsorizzato”.
 
In 2024, she was a visiting researcher at the Max Planck Institute in Hamburg (April-July). Furthermore, in the Winter semester 2017-2018, she received an Erasmus scholarship to attend Goethe Univeristät in Frankfurt am Main. Amelia has a professional knowledge of English and advanced knowledge of German.
