Avv. Marco Bellia
Marco Bellia is currently a lecturer in Patents and Trade Marks at the Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna.
He was a research fellow in Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan and a lecturer in Industrial and Competition Law at the Faculty of Business Administration of the University of Verona.
After graduating in Law, with honors, at the Catholic University of Milan, In 2012 he obtained his qualification to practice law at the Court of Appeal of Milan and in 2015 he received his PhD in Law and Economics at the LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome.
During the PhD course, he was Visiting Researcher at Columbia University in New York (2013) and Scholarship Holder at the Max-Planck-Institut für Innovation und Wettbewerb in Munich (2014), where he spent a period of research also in 2018-2019. Before being admitted to the bar, he also worked as a trainee at the Italian Competition Authority in Rome (2011).
He joined Studio Avvocato Spolidoro at the beginning of 2017 and works in the field of commercial law, competition law and industrial and intellectual property law, both in judicial and out-of-court matters.
He speaks fluent English.
